No need to rerun your tests; assuming four-element vectors the Mill inner loop will be ceil(N/4) + 5 cycles. The “5” is only significant with N < ~40. The next pressure point will occur when the vantage array no longer fits in the D$1 cache, which will happen (for a 32K cache) around N > ~8000.
